CAMPAIGNS
Raising awareness for cancer has been one of the most important things to me throughout my life. I have taken part in as many events as I can including Weekend to End Women's Cancer, Climb for Cancer, Eat Cake and Beat Cancer and many fun runs. I volunteer wtith Camp Quality and support every event I can. After surviving my own personal battle with cancer at the age of 12 I was always determined to give back what I could. That's why in 2012 I began the journey of Teal Soldiers and it continues to make a huge impact raising awareness.
Veganism is something that is very important to me. I went vegetarian over 20 years ago and vegan over 15. Since then i have learnt a lot about the topic and have recently started to share my reviews, thoughts, and recipes. What started out as "That Queensland Vegan" on Facebook, I've started to expand and with a re-brand has become "Vegausus" which currently has a Facebook page and a Blog.
